Overview
Critters is an open source portable medical record for pets built on Google Android. Critters stores all information related to your pet’s health. This information includes your pet’s medical conditions, medications and feeding routines.
Critters is available as a free application on Android Market. The application source is available for download on this page.
Status: Alpha
Features
- Support for multiple pets
- E-mail any part of the medical record to a veterinarian or boarding kennel
- Locate veterinarians based on your current location – helpful for travel emergencies
- Owner details – name, address, phone, e-mail, etc.
- Pet details – name, pedigree, breed, date of birth, microchip ID, color, photo, etc.
- Pet insurance policy information – carrier, policy number, etc.
- Primary veterinarian – name, address, phone, e-mail, etc.
- Vaccinations – type and date
- Medications – type, strength, amount, administration route, dosage instructions, refills, etc.
- Ongoing conditions – diagnosis and notes
- Weight history – includes charts
- Feeding schedules – food brand, amount, frequency, etc.
